Attorney-Client Privilege Protection Act Approved In House of Representatives, Pending in Senate


The U.S. House of Representatives approved the Attorney-Client Privilege Protection Act of 2007 in November. Its companion bill, S. 186, is still pending in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The ABA urged the House action “to roll back … harmful federal agency policies that are seriously eroding the attorney-client privilege, the work product doctrine and the constitutional rights of employees.” Letter »
