Attorney-Client Privilege Protection Act Approved
In House of Representatives, Pending in Senate
The U.S. House of Representatives approved the Attorney-Client Privilege Protection Act of 2007 in November. Its companion bill, S. 186, is still pending in the Senate Judiciary Committee. ABA President William H. Neukom urged the House action “to roll back … harmful federal agency policies that are seriously eroding the attorney-client privilege, the work product doctrine and the constitutional rights of employees.” Letter »
